Addictions, Preferences, Acceptances

by rocdragon, (http://rocdragon.shoe.org/)

:-D Dear Reader,

Is it common for people to reflect on their past relationships? I do not mean to the point of obsessive crying jags, inappropriate calls at 2:16 in the morning because an old love note surfaced from the bottom of a drawer. Seriously, its jsut after two in the morning and I am not cleaning my entertainment center because it needs it, more like I am bored and frustrated.
Okay I am digressing. Reflection is different, I know because I have rearranged my living room seven times since I moved into my apartment a year and half ago.

- its okay cry, its okay to morbidly drift in the past, even okay to find some reason to stare at the phone willing it to ring. -

Really it's okay because the process to grieve is necessary. The desire to stay there longer than say a year or two? Depending on who you are can be considered creepy or wierd. But I am in the no judgement phase of my evolutionary cycle so lets not dwell on lables.

How about the process itself, the remembering of who I am, who I really am? Now that is something worth writing. Expectations, Preferences and Acceptances.
That is what it all boils down to in my relationships.
The way to mastery, to peace, according to Walsch in his book FWG is to be aware, be honest and be responsible in your expectations, preferences and acceptances.

Elevating them from in order to gain peace. PEACE I say... YES! That means no more rearranging my apartment? NO more looking at the wall and wondering what if... the list is endless but I don't have too.... not anymore
because now I know what are expectations, preferences and acceptances.
For that is the way to mastery, that is the way of peace.
Today.
just for today.
