Dear Ladies, both Hary Potter Fans and the Not Harry Potter fans.
Really it's possible to get along. Today is a hungover day, not because of drinking or emotional jags instead the reality that at 34 staying up to 3am is not receptive. At least not since I was 26, lol.
My best friend, so love this woman, is having a hard time. Yeah, life sucks at moments but occaisonally a doosy hits ya and damn it screaming seems to be the only release.
no matter what is happening though, we have always found the "greener" side of things and last night was to see the Harry Potter release of the Deathly Hallows Part 1. She laughed so hard it hurt through our escapades which is an amazing blessing. Sometimes she surprises me with her tenacity. Dad's has prostate cancer, ex-husband has liver failure, her son's other grandfather may have cancer and her eldest son recieved a visit from the local police department. Three felonies and two arrests later, my good friend is crying feeling as the whole world is falling apart.
I get it. Sometimes there are really no words.
She did it though, turned it right around and had fun. Out and galavanted we laughed, shared stories about our past with her son (my surrogate boy) and cried a little when Dobby died in the movie.
All in all my body may be protesting today but given the chance I would do it all over again.
I love my friends, thank you for their gifts and their willingness to be real. Cause sometimes there really are no words that can fix anything but a great laugh and shared moments make it all worth while.
I love you Universe, and you lovely ladies enjoy the weekend.
If you are inclined, my heart will be grateful for you prayers for my friend and her family. Thank you.
Rochelle
